On October 23, the kindergarten hosted a meeting on the eTwinning platform as part of the ongoing project “My Life, My World - My place on the map”. During the meeting, children greeted each other in their own languages and had the opportunity to observe their peers and their classrooms. Last week, preschoolers took part in a vote on which drawing they would like to draw during the online meeting. In 80% of cases, it was a globe with a crown, which children from schools participating in the meeting drew together. The children also watched the cartoon “Sad Tree” related to environmental protection.
During the meeting, preschoolers had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with languages from other countries, exchanged the names of objects in different languages, especially in English. This is great preparation for learning foreign languages.
